Overview
A diocesan partnership with Hallow includes a set of tools and services designed to help dioceses engage their communities, promote prayer, and track participation across parishes.
Bishop-led content
Bishops can record and upload custom content — reflections, homilies, and prayers — tailored to their diocese. This lets the bishop:
Lead his flock directly, in his own voice
Offer an alternative to parish-level content
Build the kind of personal connection users already feel with voices like Fr. Mike Schmitz or Bishop Barron
Bishop-led prayer challenge
Each diocesan partnership includes a diocese-specific prayer challenge led by the bishop. This challenge is:
Featured on Hallow's Home Page within the region
Designed to engage the entire diocesan community
Diocesan Community Page
Each partnership includes a dedicated Community Page featuring a warm, personal welcome message from the bishop, inviting the faithful to join their parish community on the app and pray alongside him as he shepherds his flock.
Marketing and promotion
Hallow supports the bishop's challenge with a coordinated marketing campaign, aimed at reaching beyond active parishioners — including those disconnected from parish life and non-Catholics. This may include:
Email outreach
Push notifications
Social media promotion
Prayer-led fundraising campaign
Dioceses can run a Prayer-Led Fundraising Campaign as part of the Hallow partnership.
This includes:
A $10,000 match of funds
Support during an active campaign within the first 12 months
Important: The funding match from Hallow applies only when the campaign is completed within the first term of the partnership.
Hallow-Led Retreat/Conference Day
A retreat or conference day, facilitated by the Hallow team, designed for parish priests and staff to inspire and equip local leaders.
Broadcast messaging
The diocese can send broadcast messages at key moments during the partnership.
This helps:
Share updates across the diocese
Promote initiatives
Encourage participation
Analytics and insights
Diocesan leaders receive access to a full analytics portal.
This includes:
Activation by parish or missionary hub
Prayer categories
Challenge participation
Dedicated support
Each diocese is supported by a dedicated Hallow success leader.
This provides:
Strategic guidance
Ongoing support
A consistent partnership experience
