Hallow's Church Tab makes it easier than ever to discover your parish, connect with fellow parishioners, and join nearby church communities.
Key Features of the Church Tab Experience
Nearby Carousel: Shows up to 10 parishes within 25 miles of your current location, ordered by proximity. If your location services are off, the app will prompt you to enable them.
Partner Parishes: We will highlight Hallow Partner Churches closest to you (up to 10). These are verified Hallow partners with active parish pages.
Quotes: Displays rotating parish testimonials, showing real stories of prayer in community.
How do I join my church community in the mobile app?
If you attempt to join a church page and your parish does not have a partnership with Hallow, you will join the waitlist until your parish partnership launches.
Follow these steps to connect with your parish in Hallow:
Ensure that your app is current by accessing the Apple App Store or the Android Google Play Store. If an update is available, click it to make sure you have the latest version.
Tap the Church Tab, at the bottom of your screen
If you haven’t joined a church yet, you’ll see the Explore screen with the Nearby Carousel and Partner Parish Block.
Tap on your church from the Nearby Churches list, or search by name or ZIP code.
Tap Join to become part of your parish community.
Once you join, you’ll be welcomed by your parish page and can view posts, reflections, and prayer requests shared by other members.
If You Can’t Find Your Church
Try searching by ZIP code or full parish name.
Make sure you’re spelling the church name exactly as it appears in official listings.
If your parish doesn’t appear, please reach out to support@hallow.app, with:
Your church’s name
Full address
City and ZIP code
Only U.S. Catholic parishes and select Canadian Hallow Partner parishes are currently visible in the Church Tab. If you’re outside these regions, you may not see local churches appear yet.
