We strive to create a prayer community where members can share meaningful prayers or send them directly to a friend in a group. This feature lets you personally message a session within the app, eliminating the need for another messaging platform. You will now also be able to share and view each other’s prayer completion activity!
How to share my prayer completions
You can share your prayer completion activity with others in the app, allowing members to see and celebrate each other's spiritual journey. Your Sharing Settings screen lets you control where you want to share your completed prayers.
You have two options for managing your Sharing Settings.
Option 1: From the Me tab in Settings.
Tap the Me tab at the bottom-right corner of your screen.
Tap the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.
Tap General.
Select Sharing and Activity.
Choose the groups you want to share your prayer completions with.
Tap Done.
Option 2: From the Church tab in the "From Your Community" Block
The "From Your Community" Block updates every time a prayer is completed by members of that community, with the most recent completions appearing at the top. Tapping on See All will display 100 of the most recent prayer completions.
This is also where you can see any of the prayer completions you have shared with a group.
In your Church tab, locate the prayer completions in the "From Your Community" Block below the Small Groups carousel.
Tap the See All button
Tap the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner of your screen.
Tap Manage Sharing Preferences.
Choose the groups you want to share your prayer completions with.
Tap Done.
The app will remember your saved groups and recent sharing options.
Note: We default to not sharing prayer completions for more personal prayers (e.g., Addiction, Child Loss). If you want to share these with your Community, you will need to manually enable sharing each time.

How can I share a prayer privately or share it with my group in a chat
Select any prayer session (excluding music radio stations) from the Hallow app.
Tap the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner of your screen.
Tap the Share button
Choose the Hallow icon
Select the group you want to share the session with
If you want to share it privately, search for the person's name. Their name will appear if you’re friends with them. You can only share a prayer privately with someone if you are Friends.
You can react to messages in the Messages tab to show your support. Simply press and hold the message, and a selection of emojis will appear. You can choose from👍🏽, 😢, ❤️, 🙏🏽, or 😂 to react
