Parish partners can highlight content from the Hallow app that the parish would like to pray with together through the community library and spotlight sections of the parish page.

This article covers the purpose of each section and how parish admins can manage this content for their parish.

There are 4 types of content you can add to your parish page:

Prayer Challenges are the backbone of the parish library and set the vision of the partnership — they're the content most discussed and carefully selected together with your Parish Lead. As part of your Hallow partnership, your parish receives access to our featured Advent & Lent challenges as well as 3-6 discretionary credits to "unlock" additional community challenges that normally require a Hallow subscription. This content is free for your parishioners to access once it's added to your library.

The Hallow team will upload your challenges to your parish page for you. A challenge will first appear in a waitlist state about 1-4 weeks before a challenge is set to start. If you have questions about a challenge you do/don't see on your parish page, contact your designated Parish Lead.

As part of your Hallow partnership, your parish receives access to a select list of premium content that normally requires a subscription, but can be added directly to your library through the Parish Admin Dashboard. These complimentary collections do not count toward your available challenge credits. This content is free for your parishioners to access once it's added to your library.

You can still add any other additional content available in Hallow to the parish page both from within the app or the Hallow Admin Dashboard.

The community library is where you'll feature all of the Hallow content you are providing for your parish at no cost to them. While parishioners can still explore the full app, this brings some of your parish's favorite or featured collections into a focused section of your parish page.

Once a collection has been added, the button will change to Added to Library.

After adding a collection to your library, it becomes available for use on your parish page and in your small groups.

Note: Look for the "Free" label under the "Access" column if you're looking to add content that does not require a subscription or challenge credits for your parishioners.

Content in the community library is ordered automatically and cannot be rearranged or customized by parish admins. It always appears in this order:

The Spotlight section is a great way to highlight upcoming prayer challenges as well as complimentary content popular at your parish.

Nothing is placed under Spotlight automatically. You can choose up to 3 pieces of content to feature here.

No. Complimentary content is included with your partnership and can be added to your library without using any of your available challenge credits. It is not available to parishioners until you add it to the library.

Yes. Family Mass Prep can be added directly from the Complimentary With Your Partnership section of the Library tab.

Once a collection has been added to your library, it becomes available to members of your parish community. Only Admin can view the list of complimentary content, unless you have added it to the library.

This section is available only to Admin of active parish partners on the Admin dashboard -- not in the app.

If your partnership is active and you do not see this section, please contact your Parish Lead or email parishes@hallow.app.

No. The Library follows a fixed, automatic order — upcoming/active challenges first, then undated content like dailies and collections, then content that has ended. If you'd like specific content to stand out regardless of that order, use the Spotlight section instead, which you can reorder manually.
