Hallow Advent Pray25 FAQs

Pray25 is Hallow's signature Advent season challenge as we prepare for Christ's birth through prayer and reflection, together.

You can also find the Advent Challenge on the Home tab of the app. Simply tap Join Challenge.

You’ll know you’ve successfully joined Pray40 if you see text like “XXXX of XXXX joined” or “XXXX of XXXX praying, ”as shown below. [Insert screenshot]

If the button still says ”Join Challenge,” you haven’t joined yet.

Pray25 for 2026 begins on November 30th. You’re welcome to join at any point—even if you start after that date.

Participating in Pray25 requires a trial or subscription.

If you do not have a current trial or subscription, you can sign up on our website or as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You will not be charged until the free trial expires. Our extended seasonal trial deal will begin a few days before Advent launches.

If you have an active Hallow subscription but cannot access Pray25, make sure you're signed in to the Hallow account linked to your subscription.

You can also try closing and reopening the app and ensuring that you're using the latest version.

Session lengths vary, but most are around 10 minutes, with some slightly longer. If you miss a day, previous sessions remain available so you can continue at your own pace.

New Pray25 sessions are released daily throughout Advent and unlock one day at a time. Sessions are generally available at 12:00 AM in your device's local time zone. If you don't see the newest session, please try refreshing the app or closing and reopening it.

You're welcome to complete Pray25 at your own pace! It will remain in the app even after Christmas.
