Your school can add multiple people as staff on a single Hallow classroom — not just one teacher. Here's how that works and what it means day to day.
Staff access to a classroom
When a class is created, all school admins are automatically added as staff. Admins can remove themselves from a class's staff list if they don't need visibility into it, and other staff members — like teachers or IT personnel — can be added even if they aren't school admins.
Note: Being added as staff on a class gives you visibility into that classroom. It doesn't change your own Hallow account type or your access to the rest of the app.
What staff should know about student accounts
Kids Profile vs. Standard Account: A Kids Profile only has access to the Kids Library, while a Standard Account has access to the full Hallow library.
Assignments and Kids Profiles: If a class contains even one student on a Kids Profile, only Kids Library content will show up when you're creating an assignment for that class.

Does being added as staff on a class change my own Hallow account?
No — it only gives you visibility into that specific classroom. Your own account type and access stay the same.
Can I remove myself from a class if I don't need visibility into it?
Yes — this can be done from the class's staff list in the Admin Dashboard.
How can I add another Admin to my school?
Adding someone as staff to a classroom does not give them school Admin access. If someone at your school needs to be added as an Admin, please contact your school lead. School Admin access must be assigned by Hallow and cannot currently be added through the Hallow Admin Dashboard.
