How do I look up my Private Relay Apple ID email address?

I might've used my Apple log in to sign up for an account

Updated this week

It's possible that you initially signed up with Apple and opted to Hide my email when prompted to share your email address. In such cases, Apple generates a private relay email address for you and it will look similar to abcd1234@privaterelay.appleid.com.

On your iPhone or iPad:

If you have iCloud+, follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap your Apple ID name at the top.

  3. Tap Sign in with Apple.

  4. Select Hallow.

You’ll see:

  • The relay email address Apple created (ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com).

  • Whether forwarding is turned on.

If you do not have iCloud+, follow these steps:

  1. Open your device's Settings.

  2. Choose Sign in with Apple.

  3. Under Apps and Websites, you should see Hallow. Tap on it.

  4. You will see your Apple Account name and Hide my Email.

  5. Tap Manage Hide My Email to make any changes.

On your desktop or laptop:

  1. Sign in to appleid.apple.com.

  2. Go to the Sign in & Security tab.

  3. Click Sign in with Apple.

  4. Click Hallow.

  5. You will see your Relay Email under Hide My Email.

  6. You can manage settings or stop using sign in with Apple for Hallow.
