If you signed up for Hallow using Sign in with Apple and have Hide My Email settings turned on, Apple did not share your personal email address with Hallow.
Instead, Apple created a private relay email address just for your Hallow account, and it will look similar to abcd1234@privaterelay.appleid.com
Important: This relay email is what Hallow uses to identify your account, even though messages are forwarded to your real Apple ID email inbox behind the scenes. When you choose Continue with Apple with Hide My Email turned on, Hallow never sees or stores your personal email address. Apple is protecting your privacy when this feature is enabled.
Understanding this helps explain:
Why you might not recognize the private relay email tied to your account
Why login or password reset issues can happen
Why support may not find your account using your personal email alone
Note: Menu names may vary slightly depending on your iOS version, but the Sign in with Apple section should show your relay email if one exists.
On your iPhone or iPad:
If you have iCloud+, follow these steps:
Open Settings.
Tap your Apple ID name at the top.
Tap Sign in with Apple.
Select Hallow.
You’ll see:
The relay email address Apple created (ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com).
Whether forwarding is turned on.
If you do not have iCloud+, follow these steps:
Open your device's Settings.
Choose Sign in with Apple.
Under Apps and Websites, you should see Hallow. Tap on it.
You will see your Apple Account name and Hide my Email.
Tap Manage Hide My Email to make any changes.
On your desktop or laptop:
Sign in to appleid.apple.com.
Go to the Sign in & Security tab.
Click Sign in with Apple.
Click Hallow.
You will see your Relay Email under Hide My Email.
You can manage settings or stop using sign in with Apple for Hallow.
