This article will guide you on the different ways to create an account with Hallow.
You can create an account through the mobile app which can be downloaded through the Google Play store or Apple App Store.
You can also create an account through the Hallow website.
To create an account with Hallow, you can to use any of the following sign-in methods:
Regardless of whether you create your account in the mobile app or on our website, there will be 4 options for signing in.
Email address
Phone number
Apple ID sign-on
Google sign-on
IMPORTANT - Your sign-in type matters.
If you sign up using your phone number then later return and create an account with a different sign-in method, you may end up with more than one account.
If you accidentally created two accounts and would like to have only one, you can merge them by following the steps in this article. But if you’d like to permanently delete an account, here’s how.
You can create an account using any email address:
Step 1: Type the email address (e.g. name@yahoo.com, name@hotmail.com, etc.)
Step 2: Tap “Continue”
You can create an account by using your phone number:
Step 1: Tap “Use Phone Number Instead” (found below the “Continue” button after tapping the “Continue with email or phone” option)
Step 2: Select your country code (e.g. +1 for USA, +44 for UK, etc.)
Step 3: Add your number (e.g. 7919429428)
Step 4: Tap “Verify via Text Message”
Step 5: Wait for the text message that will be sent to your number for verification purposes

You can create a Hallow account by using your Apple ID:
Step 1: Tap the “Continue with Apple" option
Step 2: A prompt will come up asking if you prefer to share or hide your Apple ID email:
Note: If you select Hide My Email, the email address that will be registered in our database is a private relay email address which is a combination of random letters and numbers automatically generated by Apple. (e.g. tvx8ncnpfk@privaterelay.appleid.com)
You can create a Hallow account by using your Google account sign-in credentials:
Step 1: Tap “Continue with Google"
Step 2: A prompt will come up asking your permission to use your Google account for your Hallow account. Tap “Continue"
Step 3: Your Google accounts that are currently logged into on your device will come up as options. Tap the account you’d like to use
Step 4: There will be another prompt confirming your permission to use your Google account for Hallow. Tap “Continue"

How to add your email, phone, or name to an existing account:
Once you login, you have the option of adding your name to your account. Depending on the login type you chose, you also can add your phone number (if you signed up with email) or add your email (if you signed up with phone number).
Step 1: Tap the “Me” tab
Step 2: Tap the settings gear icon ⚙️
Step 3: Click on the first section above “General” where a little Hallow character will be displayed and either your email or phone number will be listed.
Step 4: You will see an option to either “Update” or “Add” an email or phone number depending on what you used to login with originally.

Once you add both a phone number and an email to your account, you’ll be able to use both options to log into the same account.
