How do I cancel my subscription or free trial?

Follow these steps to cancel your subscription or free trial of Hallow.

We’re sorry to see you go! If you choose to cancel you will still have access to all of the content for the duration of the free trial or subscription. Once it expires, your account will revert back to the free version of Hallow and you will have access to our free content.

You must cancel your free trial at least 24 hours prior to your renewal date to avoid being charged. If you have already been charged and are seeking a refund, please cancel your subscription and visit our refund article for instructions on how to request a refund.

If you have deleted the app from your phone, skip ahead to follow the instructions for how to cancel from the website. Deleting the app off your phone does not cancel the subscription, it only removes the content from your phone.


How to cancel your Hallow subscription from the mobile app.

How you cancel depends on whether your subscription or trial was paid for through the app store or through our website. If you are unsure of your subscription method, please visit this article.

  1. Visit the Me tab in your Hallow App to determine your current subscription or trial status.

    1. Tap on the Settings icon in the top right corner of the app.

    2. Tap on Subscription.

  2. Follow the instructions in the corresponding article below depending on your subscription method.

    1. Subscribed through the App Store. This means you subscribed with the payment method on file through the Apple App Store: How to Cancel an Apple subscription for Hallow

    2. Subscribed through the Play Store. This means you subscribed with the payment method on file through the Google Play Store: How to Cancel a Google subscription for Hallow

    3. Subscribed through Amazon: This means you subscribed to Hallow through your Amazon account. How to Cancel an Amazon subscription for Hallow

    4. Subscribed through Hallow.com. This means you subscribed directly via our website using a credit card (processed by Stripe) or PayPal. Proceed to tap on Cancel My Subscription.

      1. Follow the prompts choosing Continue to Cancellation each time.

      2. You will be redirected to our website and automatically logged into your Hallow account where your subscription is managed.

      3. Click on the red button that says Cancel Subscription.

      4. Click Continue.

      5. You will know you have succeeded in cancelling your subscription or trial when you see “Success! Your Subscription has been canceled and will not renew.” You will also receive a cancellation confirmation email to the email associated with this account.

If the text below your plan says “Ends on…” this means your subscription has already been cancelled. If it says “Renewing on…” your plan is currently active.


How to cancel your Hallow subscription from our website.

If you do not see an active subscription in your app store, or your Hallow App says “Subscribed through Hallow.com” then you may have a trial or subscription directly through our website.

  1. Go to the Hallow website at https://access.hallow.com/

  2. Log into your Hallow account. You should use the same login credentials you use to log into the app on your phone.

  3. Click the three-line icon in the upper right corner and click Settings.

  4. Click Subscription in the left-side menu.

  5. Click the Cancel Subscription button.

  6. Follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation of your subscription.
