How to cancel Google Play subscriptions for the Hallow App

Updated over a week ago

We’re sorry to see you go! If you choose to cancel you will still have access to all of the content for the duration of the free trial or subscription. Once it expires, your account will revert back to the free version of Hallow and you will have access to our free content.

You must cancel your free trial at least 24 hours prior to your renewal date to avoid being charged. If you have already been charged and are seeking a refund, please cancel your subscription and visit our refund article for instructions on how to request a refund.

Please note, deleting the app off your phone does not cancel the subscription, it only removes the content from your phone. You still need to cancel your subscription.

Even though you may be an Android user and downloaded the app from the Google Play Store or used Apple ID to login, does not automatically mean your subscription is a Google Subscription. If you do not see your subscription in the Google Play store, you likely subscribed directly with us through your Hallow account on the website. See these instructions for how to cancel via our website.

How to cancel your Google subscription to Hallow:

  1. In the Google Play Store app on your Android device, tap the profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. Select Payment & Subscriptions from the menu on the left.

  3. Tap Subscriptions.

  4. Find the Hallow subscription and tap on it.

  5. Tap the Cancel Subscription button at the bottom of your screen.

  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the cancellation. For more detailed instructions with screenshots, you can refer to this Google Play Help article on how to cancel a subscription: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481
