How to cancel Apple subscriptions for the Hallow App

Updated over a week ago

We’re sorry to see you go! If you choose to cancel you will still have access to all of the content for the duration of the free trial or subscription. Once it expires, your account will revert back to the free version of Hallow and you will have access to our free content.

You must cancel your free trial at least 24 hours prior to your renewal date to avoid being charged. If you have already been charged and are seeking a refund, please cancel your subscription and visit our refund article for instructions on how to request a refund.

Please note, deleting the app off your phone does not cancel the subscription, it only removes the content from your phone. You still need to cancel your subscription.

Even though you may be an iOS user and downloaded the app from the App Store or used Apple ID to login, does not automatically mean your subscription is an Apple Subscription. If you do not see your subscription in the Apple App store, you likely subscribed directly with us through your Hallow account on the website. See these instructions for how to cancel via our website.

How to cancel your Apple Subscription to Hallow:

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions.

  2. Find the Hallow subscription you want to cancel and tap on it.

  3. Tap Cancel Subscription

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the cancellation.

For more detailed instructions with screenshots, you can refer to this Apple Support article on how to cancel subscriptions: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039

Apple does not allow us to cancel subscriptions or issue refunds directly to users and you must cancel your subscription directly through the app store.

  • Apple does not share billing information with app developers to ensure the protection of your privacy. When you downloaded our app from the Apple App Store and activated the free trial, you entered into a subscription agreement facilitated by Apple's billing process. Apple, as the "merchant of record," therefore handles the billing and financial aspects of your subscription.
