How do I manage my Hallow subscription or free trial?
If you have an active trial or Hallow Subscription, this article walks you through where to go to make changes — like updating your payment method, switching plans, or canceling.
Note: Where you manage your subscription depends on where you originally subscribed. You may need to check both the app and the website if you don't see your subscription right away in one place.
Important: If you've already been charged, any changes you make will take effect on your next billing cycle. If you upgrade to a more expensive plan, you'll be charged the difference in price for the remaining months.

Figuring Out Where You Subscribed
Your subscription lives in one of three places, depending on how you originally signed up:
On our website — with a debit card, credit card, or Apple Pay (your receipt comes from our payment processor, Stripe) or with PayPal
Through the Apple App Store — using the payment method on file with your Apple ID
Through the Google Play Store — using the payment method on file with your Google account
Checking Your Subscription in the App
Go to the Me tab.
Tap Settings (or the settings icon in the top right).
Tap Subscription.
You'll see your current plan and where you subscribed. The grey text under your plan will tell you which of the following applies:
Hallow.com — you subscribed through our website
App Store — you subscribed through the Apple App Store
Play Store — you subscribed through the Google Play Store
Note: If you're on the free version of Hallow with no active trial or subscription, this screen won't show any plan details — you'll see a Subscribe option instead of Subscription.

If you subscribed on our website, you'll manage your subscription there too. The app will redirect you to the website to complete any changes.

Continue with Email or Phone Number, if that's how you signed up
Continue with Google
Continue with Apple
Once logged in, tap the three-line icon in the top right to open Settings, then tap Subscription.
Select the subscription you'd like to manage. From here, you can switch between plans.
If you already have a subscription, you'll see your current plan details.
Note: If you only have one subscription, you'll go straight to the plan options. If you have two or more, you'll see an overview of all your subscriptions first — tap into the one you want to manage.
Apple App Store Subscriptions
Go to your Apple Subscriptions.
Tap on your Hallow subscription.
If your subscription is active, you'll see a renewal date and a Cancel Subscription button.

Update your subscription as needed.
Note: If you turn off auto-renewal, you'll keep access until the end of your current subscription period.

Frequently Asked Questions
I subscribed in the Hallow app. Why isn't my subscription managed by Hallow?
Depending on your device and how you paid for your subscription, purchases made in the Hallow app may be managed by Hallow, the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, Amazon Appstore, or another supported app marketplace.
What happens if I've already been charged and I make a change?
Your change will take effect on your next billing cycle — it won't apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for.
What if I want to upgrade to a more expensive plan?
You'll be charged the difference in price for the remaining months of your current billing period.
Do I lose access right away if I cancel?
No — you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. Canceling just stops future renewals.
Can I switch which platform I subscribe through?
Not directly — you'd need to cancel your current subscription and start a new one through the other platform. For example, if you want to switch your subscription from the Apple App Store to Hallow's website in order to redeem a gift card or promotion, you'd need to cancel your app store subscription and sign up again on Hallow's website.
