Updating your payment method is essential to ensure uninterrupted access to all Hallow's features and exclusive content. Depending on where you initially subscribed, the process to update your payment information may differ. Below, we provide step-by-step instructions for each subscription type to help you manage your payment methods effortlessly.
Updating your payment through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store
If you used the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store to subscribe, your payment method is processed through those third-party platforms and not directly via Hallow. Follow the steps below to update your payment method with them:
If you subscribed via the Google Play Store:
Step 1: On your Android phone, go to your payment methods in Google Play.
Step 2: Tap Add a payment method.
Step 3: Choose the payment method you want to add.
Step 4: Follow the on-screen instructions.

If you subscribed via the Apple App Store:
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2: Tap on your name at the top of the screen.
Step 3: Select Payment & Shipping.
Step 4: Tap Add Payment Method and enter your new payment information.
Step 5: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Updating your payment through the Hallow website
If you subscribed on the Hallow website, your payment was made either by credit card or PayPal.
If you subscribed with a credit card (Stripe):
If you used credit card, you should have a receipt and email from Stripe, our payment processor.
Option 1: If you received an email from Stripe about your card expiring or failed payments, the email will have a link to let you directly update your card or make the payment immediately without needing to login.
Option 2: To update your payment details with Stripe, you can log into your account and manage it on our website:
Step 1: Log in to your account on our Hallow website.
Step 2: Navigate to the Subscription section.
Step 3: Select the Payment option.
Step 4: Update your payment method by entering the new payment details.
Step 5: Save your changes.
If you subscribed with PayPal:
Please, note that you can't switch from PayPal to a different payment method directly from Hallow's website. If you want to change your payment method within PayPal, you can do so directly through your PayPal account. However, if you intend to transition from PayPal to another payment method, you will need to cancel your current subscription and then resubscribe using the new payment method.
To update a credit card:
Step 1: Login to your PayPal account.
Step 2: Tap "Wallet."
Step 3: Select the card you want to update.
Step 4: Tap "Edit" or "Update Card."
To update the payment method used for an automatic payment:
Step 1: Login to your PayPal account.
Step 2: Tap "Manage autopay."
Step 3: Tap "Manage payment methods."
