How can I update the app to the latest version?

Having trouble with the app? It might be time for an update.

If you're experiencing issues accessing new features or content, or if the app isn't behaving as expected, it’s important to ensure you have the latest version. Please be aware that Hallow cannot update the app if your device is no longer supported. Here is how to check your compatibility and update your app.


For iOS Devices (Apple App Store)

To check for updates in the Apple App Store:

  • Step 1: Open the App Store by tapping the "App Store" icon on your iOS device's home screen.

  • Step 2: Tap the "Search" Tab located at the bottom of the screen, represented by a magnifying glass.

  • Step 3: Search for "Hallow" by typing "Hallow" in the search bar and tapping "Search."

  • Step 4: Find the Hallow App.

  • Step 5: Check for Updates: If an update is available, you'll see an "Update" button next to the app. Tap "Update" to start the process.

To check compatibility and the latest app version in the Apple App Store:

Once you've found the app using the steps above...

  • Step 1: Check the version number under "What's New."

  • Step 2: Scroll down to view the "Information" section.

  • Step 3: Look for "Compatibility"

    • Compatibility should say "Works on your this iPhone"

For Android Devices (Google Play Store):

To check for updates in the Google Play Store:

  • Step 1: Open the Google Play Store by tapping the "Google Play Store" icon on your Android device.

  • Step 2: Tap the Profile Icon located at the top right of the screen.

  • Step 3: Tap "Manage apps & device" and look for apps labeled "Update available."

  • Step 4: Update the Hallow App: Tap "Update" next to the Hallow app if an update is available.

To check compatibility and the latest app version in the Google Play Store:

Once you've found the app using the steps above...

  • Step 1: Scroll down to tap on "About this app"

  • Step 2: Scroll down to view "App Info"

  • Step 3: Check "Version" and "Compatibility"

    • Compatibility should say "Works on your device"

    • If concerned, you can reach out to customer support and provide the version number that you see listed.
