What does the “jwt expired” or “Alamofire.AuthenticationError error 1.)” error mean in the Hallow app?
These errors mean your secure login session has expired and the Hallow app is no longer able to authenticate your account.
This usually happens if the app has been open in the background for a long period of time or if the session needs to be refreshed.
What you may see on your screen:
How to fix?
Step 1: Fully close and reopen the app
Start by fully closing and reopening the Hallow app.
Close the Hallow app completely so it is not running in the background.
Reopen the app and check whether the error is resolved.
Why this works:
Fully closing and reopening the app forces it to refresh your secure login session. This is the most common and effective fix.
Step 2: Uninstall and reinstall the app
If reopening the app does not fix the error, reinstalling the app usually resolves it.
Uninstall the Hallow app from your device.
Reinstall the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Open the app and log in as usual.
Why this works:
Reinstalling clears temporary app data and resets background processes that can interfere with authentication.
