How do I opt into Daily Quote text messages?
You can get a Daily Quote sent straight to your phone by turning on text notifications in the app. Follow the steps below.
Turning on Daily Quote Texts
Tap on the Me tab.
Tap General.
Tap Notification Settings.
Toggle on Daily Quote Text.
Important:
Texting "STOP" opts you out of all future text messages from Hallow. Toggling this feature on in the app doesn't undo this — you have to opt back in directly through text.
These texts are only applicable for U.S. customers.
What to Do If You're Not Receiving Texts
If you've turned on Daily Quote Text but still aren't getting messages, it's likely because you previously texted the word "STOP" to us.
To start receiving texts again:
Open your text messages.
Find your conversation with Hallow (425569).
Reply "START" to that conversation.
If you don't have that conversation saved anymore, you can text the word "START" to 425569 to re-subscribe.
Once you've done this, your Daily Quote texts — along with any other text messages you've opted into in the app — will start sending again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I manage my texts from Hallow in the web app?
No. Your notification settings can only be managed from within the mobile app.
Will turning Daily Quote Text on in the app bring my texts back if I've texted "STOP" before?
No. Opting into the feature in the app doesn't override a previous "STOP" — you'll need to text "START" to 425569 first.
Will I need to text "START" for every text feature I want to receive?
No. Replying "START" once re-enables texting for your number for all Hallow text notifications. From there, whichever features you've opted into in the app will send as normal.
