If your app stops playing the current session when you lock the phone screen, you can try the following troubleshooting steps.
Go to your phone settings, find the Hallow app, and check the following settings:
Click on Data Usage and make sure “Allow background data usage” is toggled on.
Click on Battery and make sure “Allow background activity” is toggled on (this could also be called “Put app to sleep” in some older versions of Android
If you have a Samsung phone, look under the Optimize Battery Usage section, make sure Hallow is not checked, that should do it!
