How to Request a PayPal Refund from Hallow

If you were charged by PayPal for your Hallow Subscription, follow these steps to request your refund.

If you started your subscription on our website (Hallow.com) your payment options were either credit card or PayPal. The charge will most likely appear on your credit card statement as "PAYPAL HALLOW INC"

See below for how to request a refund for PayPal subscriptions from Hallow.

Step 1: When were you charged?

If you were charged in the last 3 days (or less) and your receipt is from PayPal, you can log into your account on our website to process your own refund. If it has been more than 3 days or you encounter an error, please proceed to Step 2.

  1. Log into your account on our website (app.hallow.com)

  2. Choose your sign-in method

  3. Tap the Menu button in the upper right-hand corner of the page (looks like 3 horizontal lines)

  4. Tap Settings

  5. Tap Subscription. If you have an active subscription, you will see a red button that says Cancel Subscription

  6. Tap Cancel Subscription

  7. At this point, if you have been charged in the past 3 days, a popup will appear asking if you would like a refund

  8. Tap the red button that says Refund. A popup that says “Success!” should appear if you were successful.

    • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your bank statement. Bank processing times may vary.

Step 3: Locate your PayPal Account Email

If you subscribed using PayPal as your payment method, your transaction may be associated with an email that is different from the one you used to create or login to your Hallow account.

Step 4: Send your receipt and PayPal email to Hallow’s Customer Support

  • Option 1:

    • Reach out using the messenger button in the bottom corner of your screen.

  • Option 2:

    • Email Your Request: Send your request along with your contact information to support@hallow.app.

    • Subject Line: Ensure the subject line reads "Refund Request" to help us quickly identify and fulfill your request.

The information requested is essential for helping us find your account and reverse the charge. Our refund specialist will process your refund and inform you once your refund has been granted.

Let us know that you have a PayPal subscription and include:

  1. Your first & last name

  2. Your primary e-mail address or phone number associated with your Hallow account

    • Don't know which email or number your account is hosted under? Go to the “Me” tab > then “Settings” > then view the address listed at the very top.

  3. Your PayPal Account Email

  4. On what date were you charged?

  5. Were you "charged twice?"

    • If so, please let us know if you’d like to keep one subscription.

  6. Your receipt.

    • Go here if you need help finding the receipt.

Please do not send us screenshots of your bank statement because this usually does not indicate subscription type nor contain the identifying information that we need.

Hallow never charges customers without consent. Our trials require that you provide valid payment upon sign-up and we share with you, before you sign up, what the amount is that you will be charged at the end of the trial.

In order for us to have any customer payment information on file you consent to start a trial by entering your credit card information on our website or consenting through PayPal or Google/Apple App Store payment methods. All trials automatically change into a paid subscription unless you cancel it at least 24hrs beforehand.
