Here are some important notes about how our trials work!
Who can redeem a free trial?
Most trial offers are intended for first-time subscribers only.
If you're not sure whether you already had a trial, please check by following the steps in this article.
If you already had a trial subscription before, the system will automatically charge the regular subscription fee when you attempt to redeem another trial.
Do trial offers vary?
Trial offers vary seasonally. Limited-time offers for longer, extended trials are often available during significant seasons in the Catholic liturgical calendar, such as Advent and Lent.
Trial offers vary for certain partners. Some parishes have special trial and promotional deals with Hallow. If you belong to a partner parish and want to redeem a parish deal, please refer to this article.
Trial offers vary depending on where you sign up. You may see trials differ based on whether you sign up in-app or via the website. They can also vary by country and app store (e.g. Apple or Google). Our best offer is generally accessed by signing up via our website.
I see a paid trial option. What is a paid trial?
In addition to the standard free trial available, Hallow occasionally offers the opportunity to pay for a longer trial for a minimal fee (e.g. $3.99 for 90 days). This paid trial gives you longer time to explore the app before committing to an annual subscription.
Seeing a different offer than expected?
You may be subscribing through the app instead of our website, or the promotion has ended. Before starting your trial, reach out to us at support@hallow.app to confirm.
Started the wrong trial by mistake?
No worries—email us at support@hallow.app and let us know whether you began the trial in-app or through our website. We might be able to help.
Charged immediately after trying to start a trial?
You may have already redeemed a trial before and weren’t eligible. Learn how to request a refund here.
Please be aware that you have to provide a valid payment method, and the cost of the subscription is communicated to you when you start the trial. You may cancel anytime before the trial is over, otherwise the trial will automatically turn into a paid subscription unless you cancel it at least 24 hours beforehand.
