Overview
Kids Profiles let you create a separate, child-friendly experience within your Hallow account. Each Kids Profile has its own content library, streak, completions, and settings — all managed safely from your parent account.
Here's what you get with Kids Profiles:
A separate profile with its own streak, completions, favorites, downloads, and more
A curated kids content library (free or paid, depending on your subscription)
PIN-protected switching so only you can return to your parent profile
Up to 12 Kids Profiles under one account
The ability to rename each profile from the default "Kids" to your child's name
Important Limitations to Note:
Kids Profiles are currently only available in the U.S. for English-speaking users.
You will not be able to switch between profiles in offline mode.
How to Create a Kids Profile
On Mobile
Tap on your name or profile image on the Me tab.
Tap Add a Kids Profile
Give a name to the profile (It can just be "Kids" if you like!)
Create a 4-digit PIN required to switch out of the kids profile
On Web
Tap the hamburger menu in the top-right corner.
Select Add a Kids Profile

PINs for Kids Profiles
When you set up a Kids Profile, you'll create a Parent PIN — a 4-digit code that protects access back to your parent account. A few things to know:
There is one PIN per parent account, not one per Kids Profile.
PINs can't be 4 consecutive numbers (e.g., 1234) or 4 of the same number (e.g., 1111).
You don't need a PIN to switch into a Kids Profile — only to switch back to the parent profile.
Content on Kids Profiles
The content your child can access depends on your subscription status:
Free version of Hallow: Your child will have access to the free version of the kids content library.
Hallow Subscription: Your child will have access to the full paid kids content library.
General subscription prompts are removed from Kids Profiles. The only time a subscription prompt appears is if your child taps on locked content — and a Parent PIN will be required to make any purchase.
Kids Profiles FAQ
Can I have more than one Kids Profile?
Yes! You can create up to 12 Kids Profiles on one account. If you reach the limit, you'll need to delete a profile before adding a new one.
Will my child see my streak or prayer history?
Nope — Kids Profiles are fully separate. Your child will have their own streak, completions, favorites, downloads, and more.
What happens when I close the app?
When the app is closed for any reason, it'll reopen to whichever profile was last active.
Can my child make purchases on the kids profile?
A Parent PIN is required to make any purchase from a Kids Profile, so you're always in control.
What happens if I merge two accounts that both have Kids Profiles?
Merging accounts will keep all Kids Profiles as long as the total stays under 12. If the combined total would exceed 12, you'll need to delete a profile before you can complete the merge.
Do I have to create a kids profile to access kids content?
No. Anyone is welcome to access and enjoy kids content.
