Help! I'm getting an error when redeeming the parish deal

How to troubleshoot common issues while redeeming your parish's special trial or subscription deal.

Try these troubleshooting steps if you see one of the following errors while redeeming the parish deal at https://hallow.com/parish/

  • "No valid promo code matches the provided value."

    • Try option 1 below to re-enter the code

  • The offer shows the wrong deal, with an incorrect number of days or a trial that is not $1

    • Stop, and try option 1 below to re-enter the code, or proceed to option 2 and try to redeem on hallow.com

  • “An account with this email address already exists.”

    • This means you are trying to register an account that already exists in Hallow. You should try to log out and log back in to that account, and proceed with option 2, trying to redeem the code directly via our website.

If you have trouble following these steps, or the issue with your parish promo code persists, please reach out to our customer support team via the messenger or by emailing us at parishsupport@hallow.app.

Option 1: Re-enter the promo code

  1. On the payment portal screen, you will find the promo code.

  2. Copy the promo code found under Applied Promo Code or Gift Card.

  3. Click the X on the right to remove the existing code.

  4. Click Have a gift card or promo code, then paste the code again.

  5. Select a payment method.

  6. Click Redeem.

Option 2: Try redeeming the code on our website

If the error persists even after re-entering the code, try redeeming it by following these steps:

  1. Before proceeding, copy the promo code found under Applied Promo Code or Gift Card.

  2. Paste the promo code.

  3. Choose your sign-in method.

  4. Enter your password.

  5. Add your payment method.

  6. Redeem the offer.
